Another shot at using reverse macro with my Canon 50mm. My adapter hasn't come in the mail yet, so this is a rough, hand-held shot of some raindrops for practice. So difficult to get the balance of necessary light and depth of field. This is going to take some work!

I like this and it is going in the correct direction.
One choice you could have made is to focus more on one of the larger drops

yeah, you're right. that would have been perhaps a better idea, but with the title, i thought focusing on the contrast in design was interesting. now that i have my adapter ring, this is MUCH easier :) you'll be seeing more soon!

Very nice shot :) I like the 1x1 crop.
If it's okay, I'd like to say for me it's very under-exposed though....

But I still like it a lot!

thanks. yeah, i think the underexposure might have come from me trying to reduce noise and up contrast. this was a handheld shot (very cumbersome!) and i ended up with a lot of noise and less clarity than i wwould have liked. thanks for your comment
