yeah but it doesn't make sense how he made it?....did he go up to it and wave a light source around and take a picture or something? that's what I was asking...

yes. as long as the shutter is open, it captures the light. just go somewhere that has low light, take a photo with the shutter open long enough for you to move around and wave the light source. it's really easy. that's how photography works though - capturing light.
